    1. Mobile Friendliness – We have one more tool i.e. search console tool which will help us to know mobile friendliness. If you do not have login credentials or verified domain for search console first do and then check for friendliness.

  • Google My Business Latest Update – Added Services Menu in Dashboard

    Regularly we are working on Google local listing and seeing frequent changes in dashboard, so that we are able to push more and more information for users.

    So this time again Google announced that services menu will add in Google Local Listing dashboard so that we are able to add our product with their price and description. Once it will be live for all region than sure it will added more value in local listing.



    So I am just sharing some information how it looks like once live foe all locations:-

    If today you will login to local listing and will go in info section in dashboard than you will see below screen.

    After new update you will see one more field here in between as per below screen

    Once you will click on services section you will get below screen

    So as per above screen we are able to add following information which will be visible to users in Google SERP:-

    1. Add Section – so we can add type of services which we are serving to our customer, which will help to give a clear picture to users.
    2. Add Item – We can add item here with their price, so item can be your product, services, food menu etc.
    3. Item Description – We can add item description here so that added item can be understood by user in a clear way and user able to take decision on that item in a fraction of time.

  • Which is better Data Highlighter or Schema mark-up?

    Hopefully you have already listened about the mark-up techniques which can be used for your website. So today I will describe here about Data Highlighter and Schema Mark-up. Data highlighter can be used with the help of search console while schema code can be directly inserted into code or you can implement it with Google Tag Manager.

    So now question is for myself that what I should use Data Highlighter or Schema?

    Both are the ok as per your requirement and both have its pros and cons. So first I will discuss about Data Highlighter Pros and Cons and then will tell you, how you can implement for your website?




    Pro’s of Data Highlighter:-

    1. Easy to use and website code is not required
    2. You can do it easily with in limited time and budget
    3. It can be done with the help of tool provide by Google and can be accessed in search console
    4. Perfect way if you are working only for Google not for other search Engine
    5. No technical knowledge required to implement it

    Con’s of Data Highlighter

    1. This highlighter will work only for Google not for other search engine like Bing & Yahoo
    2. There are limitations for the data which can be highlighted
    3. You cannot cover all elements of the page, only element can be covered which is mentioned there

    Method to use Data Highlighter:-

    There are some steps which you should use for data highlighter.

    Step-1 First login search console and go for data highlighter option-

    Now click on start highlighting and you will get below screen:-

    Now you will enter the URL for which you want highlight the data. Also need to select type of page means it is article, event, products etc. Once you will complete these step and click OK than you will get below screen.

    So now you can see in screenshot that there are some predefined filed which you can highlight with this tool. Just does a right click on page and add as per field given in data highlighter. As shown in screenshot I have done right click on title and it will come in right hand side panel as per below screen.

    Now I will tell you Pro’s and Pro’s of schema mark-up –

    1. Schema mark-up applicable for all search engines not just for Google
    2. There is more than one format which you can use for schema mark-up implementation

    Only one which I think for schema is, its little bit tough to implement as we have multiple code to implement.

  • Google Introduce the New Search Console

    Few month ago Google announced a Beta version and I have updated the same as per link (http://www.come4seo.com/blog/google-invited-some-users-for-new-search-console-index-status-beta-version/). After taking feedback from all users who have access of new version, Google announce it will be live for all user now.



    This new search console will help to all webmaster to now website’s presence on Google search. Most important part will be Index coverage. I am waiting for this feature last couple of months. Now I am able to see it for all of my search console account. Really I am eager to show that window of Index Coverage.

    The functionality will include Search Performance, Index Coverage, AMP Status and Job Posting Reports.

    Google announce until the new search console will not be live completely both search console will work parallel.

    When you will login for search console than first time you will get a screen as given below.

    In the new version of search console Google has introduced ability to share reports within the organization.

    If you have interest in search analytics than you love the news Search Performance Report. In new search console report we will have a 16 month of data. As of now we have only three month data in Search Console.




    Index coverage:- It will tell us comprehensive view on Google Indexing Data.

    New indexing report give us a new insight. It will show us clearly now how much URL index and which is the URL still not indexed. Now we are able to know that how many URL are index from our sitemap file. Which pages still left for indexing? So as per data we will take appropriate action on it.

    New search console also help us to improve AMP pages. There are major two changes has done.

    1. First one is getting faster feedback in the process of fixing an issue. With the help of button click you are able to know the error and same time you get the notification to resolve the same.
    2. Secondly we will get an update regarding the pages which is successfully pass for AMP and rest which has left also you will have in this new search console.




    Similar to indexing report you will get any update for Job Posting Report. If you have job listing on your website then you may be eligible to have those shown directly through Google for jobs.

    Now to make this product more valuable for users Google asked your feedback for the same. So you should give your feedback after using it. What else you want in it so that your website can easily accessed by Google.

  • How to Implement Schema code with Google Tag Manager

    Now a day’s almost all website owners are adding schema code to their website. So there are two way to add schema to your website.

    1. Implement Hard code On your website
    2. Implement with Google Tag Manager

    Schema has introduce in 2011. Schema.org is a collection of schemas for structured data which help to search engine for better understanding of website content. By implementing schema you can organize your data i.e. how your data should be replicate in search engine.




    Today I will discuss the step which you should follow to implement schema for your website.

    Step-1 Create Script for Schema Mark-up – you should create schema script as per your requirement. Here I am sharing JSON to implement schema for website logo and Social Links. So as per this step below will be the JSON which we will implement through GTM.

    Step-2 – Open Google Tag Manager and Create a Tag as per below Screen. Click on circled option that is Tag and click on new.

    Step-3 Once you will click on new than below screen you will get. Here you should select CUSTOM HTML and paste your JSON which you have prepared.

    Now select trigger and create a new trigger where you want to implement schema.

    As per above screen you should create a new trigger as per requirement and fire it on required pages. After doing it save tag which you have created.

    Now you have successfully created a tag and you can check it in preview and see what value is passing in your tag. When you have completed your implementation than you should check it with DATA STRUCTURE TESTING TOOL. You know the trigger so accordingly can check for any of the pages how your schema looks like. I am sharing one more screens which will show the output of schema implementation.

    So I will suggest all marketer should use schema mark-up to get all benefits of this. In this case you can implement it without knowledge of HTML. You did not required any server/ web file access to make change.

  • How Create Property SET in Google Search Console?

    More than one year Ago Google announced a feature where you can combined your website URL together. Here we can add different version of URL and able to see combined effect of Mobile APP, Mobile Website & Desktop website. With the help of this we are able to know below items combined in a single property set:-

    1. Search analytics
    2. Clicks
    3. Impression
    4. CTR
    5. Query Position in SERP
    6. Pages
    7. Country
    8. Devices
    9. Mobile Usability
    10. Accelerated Mobile Pages
    11. International Targeting
    12. Rich Cards

    Now I will share all step and benefit of using Property set for your website or Mobile APP. So when you have different-2 version of website URL and want to see them into a single Search Console property then only option you can create a property set. So below is the screenshot where you will get option to create a property set.

    Once you create on add a set than you will get below screen. As per below screen you will Set property name and select members (website) which you want to add in this set. Once you will click on Members in set than you will see all website which you have already added in your search console.

    Now select from drop-down all the version which you want to add. Than you will start to collect all website data in a single property.



    Now you have created a property set and added all version of url in this property. Now data has started populate in this property set. Once you will check this property set than first screen which you will see as per below screen.

    Now you need to check which type of data you are getting in property set. Once you will click on a property set you will get below screen along with following stats.

    Here are seeing all the stats which we have already mentioned in this Blog. You can explore any of the option given in left hand on screenshot. So in this manner we are able to capture all queries for 3-4 version of website in a single account. Hope this will help you to take decision to make your website more visible in search engine.



    When I will click on Search Analytics than you will get deep data search queries along with different-2 matrices as per below screenshot.

    I have done this exercise for a single keyword, you need to perform it for multiple keywords. Once you have 10 to 20 keywords with you with the help of Google Suggestion than push these into AdWords Keyword Planner tool.

    10. Check and Ranking on regular interval and update the keywords which is going Down
    11. Update Google plus Page associated with Local Listing on regular basis.
    12. Update Post on regular basis for all Listed location
