Google Search Console November 2019 Update – Added Message in Dashboard

We know that Google Search console sends millions of messages every month. As of now below are the type of message which received from Google Search Console –

  • Google Search Console Update
  • Top Errors in Website
  • Structure Data Issue
  • Top Warning Message to Our website
  • Href Language Error message
  • Search Performance Message etc




According to Google-

 “As of today, messages will be available through a panel accessed easily by clicking the bell icon at the top of any page in Search Console. The main difference from the old interface is that now you’ll have access to your messages throughout the product, no need to leave your reports.”

Now Google search console decided to share all these message on their dashboard itself. This feature has roll out yesterday for all search console users. Now you can see all message related to your website or property once you will hover your mouse on bell icon you will see below screen

Once you will click on this bell icon you will see message as per below screen

As per screen you can see that they have mentioned all type also, so once you will click on all type you are able to see the type of message as per below screen-

Type of message has divided in below categories: –

  •   Mobile Usability
  •   Performance
  •   Top Warning
  •   Top Error
  •   Coverage
  •   Breadcrumbs
  •   Datasets
  •   Unparsable Structured Data
  •   Products
  •   Permissions etc.

Access for Older Message: – The message panel shows message only from 23rd May onwards. Message before this date you can check in your mail or legacy message list. Your old message also available in the old interface for the time being, you can find them under the section “Legacy tools & Reports” in the sidebar.
